Úrú Collective manages the podcast’s production, growth strategy, and brand partnerships, ensuring it reaches a wide and engaged audience.

Our Role:

  • Podcast Production & Management: Úrú Collective oversees the content planning and guest coordination to production and post-production. We ensure that each episode is polished, engaging, and true to the Afrobeats Intelligence brand.

  • Audience Growth & Engagement: Through targeted marketing strategies and strategic partnerships, Úrú Collective has grown the Afrobeats Intelligence podcast to over 1 million downloads and a dedicated subscriber base of 26,000 on its Substack newsletter.

  • Brand Partnerships & Sponsorships: We facilitate impactful collaborations with brands that align with the Afrobeats Intelligence ethos. From sponsorships to co-branded content, Úrú Collective connects the podcast with partners that enhance its value and provide mutual benefits.

  • Content Strategy & Development: Our team works closely with Joey Akan to craft compelling content that resonates with listeners. We guide the editorial direction, ensuring that each episode not only entertains but also informs and inspires the audience about the evolution of Afrobeats.

Timaya Day: A Homecoming Celebration in Bayelsa

Timaya Day was a spectacular celebration of music and culture, bringing the legendary artist Timaya back to his hometown of Bayelsa State for a special concert. This event was more than a homecoming; it was a tribute to his roots and a gift to his community. Afrobeats Intelligence, led by Joey Akan and Nneka Mogbo, played a crucial role in capturing and sharing this momentous occasion.

Our Role:

  • Event Coverage & Content Creation: Úrú Collective was at the forefront of documenting Timaya Day. Nneka Mogbo captured the essence of the event through high-quality photos and engaging video content, ensuring the energy and spirit of the concert were vividly preserved.
